Welcome the the Haqqani Foundation of Montreal Website.
The Haqqani Foundation endeavors to spread the Sufi teachings of
the brotherhood of mankind and the Unity of belief in God that is
present in all religions and spiritual paths.
Its efforts are directed at bringing the diverse spectrum of
religions and spiritual paths into harmony and concord, in
recognition of mankind's responsibility as caretaker of this fragile
planet and of one another.
INSPIRATION

Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani: is the spiritual leader of the Naqshbandi-Haqqani Sufi Order. He has devoted his life to spreading the teachings of traditional Islam and serve to humanity throughout the world, from East Asia to North America.
History of the Foundation
Twenty years in service for peace and harmony among cultures & communities
The Haqqani Foundation is named after the world renowned and respected spiritual leader Shaykh Nazim al Haqqani, who has played a leading role in promoting the traditional teachings of Sufism and moderate, classical Islam across the world.
The Haqqani Foundation was established in 1989 in Montreal by Shaykh Hisham Kabbani. Shaykh Kabbani is a Sufi Master and representative of Shaykh Nazim al Haqqani, and serves as the president of the Islamic Supreme Council of America (ISCA) [http://www.islamicsupremecouncil.org]. Since then, the Foundation has been active at many levels in promoting the universal values of tolerance and cultural diversity, and in spreading the teachings of traditional Islam and Sufism.
Over the years, the Haqqani Foundation has attracted hundreds of community members of varying spiritual, religious, and cultural backgrounds. The Foundation is managed by volunteers from a broad range of professional backgrounds, from academia, to arts and music, to accounting and management.
